It is not heavy, colored, or conjested in the mids and low-mids. This makes it a great choice on acoustic instruments including guitar, piano, orchestra, percussion- wherever you are looking for articulation, detail without the heavy, sluggish, and sometimes muddy response you sometimes get from vacuum tubes.
